Kamran Najmabadi, CEO
Kamran Najmabadi, CEO, has over 20 years experience in the
medical device and consumer electronics industry with companies including
Logitech Corp., BD Biosciences and Acuson-Siemens Corporation.
He has served in senior management roles where he has led
small and large teams in achieving demanding R&D and operational goals, product timetables and rollouts.
Mr. Najmabadi has extensive knowledge and experience
in strategic planning for new product development in the medical device
and consumer electronics industry.
Daniel J Rachlin, M.D., Ph.D., CTO
Dr. Rachlin brings expertise in helping companies develop their core technologies,
often in the context of achieving critical milestones for funding rounds or product launch. In the past decade
he has developed an active consulting business and network, and spent several years at iScience Interventional
as Director of Engineering developing ophthalmic products. He is a creative problem solver,
focusing on system-wide concepts and architecture, while
delivering expertise in multiple
disciplines including optics, electronics, physics,
algorithms and software. His active interests include signal processing and image analysis algorithms,
analog and rf electronics, embedded systems, fluorescence imaging and detection systems, and scientific and
commercial software application development.
Dr. Rachlin stays current with the changing landscape of biotech and medical technologies.
He excels at innovation and guiding efficient teams. Dr. Rachlin is a member of
SPIE, PATCA, Consultant Network of Silicon Valley
(CNSV) and a senior member of IEEE.
Albert Yee, Ph.D., Senior Systems Engineer and QSR Manager
Dr. Yee provides a diverse range of skills, including automation
and workflow optimization, mechanical engineering, and quality system management. He has played a principle role
in establishing QSR systems including V&V and document control for class II and class III medical products. Dr. Yee
has developed automated assay systems, having skills in systems, mechanical and software engineering.
